Scholars have said that whoever sees an old or new cauterization mark protruding from their skin may acquire worldly treasures. If they use these treasures in obedience to God, they have succeeded; if they use them in disobedience, they may be punished by that treasure on the Day of Judgment. It is also mentioned that if the cauterization mark does not cause pain or fear, it may function as a remedy or cure.
