Community Guidelines
Effective Date: July 14, 2026
AlArab24 exists to help the Arab community in the U.S. find trustworthy businesses, services, and each other. These Guidelines apply to all content and interactions on the Site — reviews, questions and answers, photos, classifieds, and profile information.
3.1 Be Honest
Share only genuine experiences. Do not post fake reviews, do not accept payment or favors in exchange for a review, and do not review a business you own, work for, or compete with.
3.2 Be Respectful
Disagreements about a business or service are fine — personal attacks, hate speech, harassment, and discrimination (based on religion, ethnicity, national origin, gender, disability, or any other protected characteristic) are not. This applies even in disputes between users and business owners.
3.3 Protect Privacy
Do not post other people's personal information (phone numbers, addresses, financial details) without their consent. Do not use content on the Site to stalk, harass, or contact people outside its intended purpose.
3.4 No Spam or Manipulation
Do not post repetitive, irrelevant, or promotional content outside its intended context. Do not create multiple accounts to manipulate reviews, ratings, referrals, or rewards.
3.5 Keep Content Appropriate
No sexually explicit content, graphic violence, or content promoting illegal activity. Photos should be relevant to the business or listing they accompany.
3.6 Respect Religious and Cultural Sensitivity
Given AlArab24's community focus, be especially thoughtful around religious claims (such as halal status) — see the disclaimer in our Terms of Service (Section 2.3). Do not make unverified religious or community-affiliation claims about a business you do not own or represent.
3.7 Reporting
If you see content that violates these Guidelines, report it through the Site's reporting tools or email privacy@alarab24.net. We review reports and may remove content, warn, suspend, or ban accounts at our discretion.
3.8 Consequences
Violations may result in content removal, warnings, temporary suspension, permanent account termination, or forfeiture of rewards/points earned through violating conduct, depending on severity and history.
