Business Listing Policy
Effective Date: July 14, 2026
This Policy governs the submission, claiming, editing, and removal of business listings on AlArab24.
5.1 Who Can Submit a Listing
Any user may submit a business for inclusion in the directory. Business owners are encouraged to claim their listing directly.
5.2 Submission Requirements
Submitted listings should include accurate business name, address, category, and contact information to the best of the submitter's knowledge. Listings must represent real, operating businesses relevant to the Arab community in the U.S.
5.3 Claiming a Listing
Business owners may request to claim their listing to gain editing rights. We may request reasonable verification (such as proof of ownership or affiliation) before approving a claim. Claim approval grants editing access but is not an endorsement, certification, or guarantee of the business's legitimacy, quality, halal status, or practices (see Terms of Service Section 2.3).
5.4 Prohibited Listings
We may reject or remove listings that: are fake, duplicate, or represent a business that does not exist or is not operating; promote illegal goods or services; are submitted to harass, defame, or mislead; violate intellectual property rights (e.g., unauthorized use of another business's name or branding); contain false halal, religious, or community-affiliation claims.
5.5 Accuracy and Disputes
Business owners are responsible for keeping their claimed listing accurate. If you believe a listing (claimed or unclaimed) contains inaccurate information about your business, contact privacy@alarab24.net with supporting details, or claim the listing to edit it directly.
5.6 Reviews on Your Listing
Business owners may not remove or edit user reviews, but may publicly respond to them. Reviews that violate our Community Guidelines (Part 3) can be reported for removal.
5.7 Removal of a Listing
Business owners may request removal of their listing by contacting privacy@alarab24.net. We may also remove listings that violate this Policy, our Terms of Service, or upon a valid legal request.
