Classifieds Posting Rules

4.1 What You Can Post

Items for sale, job openings, services offered, housing listings, and community announcements relevant to the Arab community in the U.S.

4.2 Prohibited Listings

• Weapons, ammunition, or explosives
• Illegal drugs or drug paraphernalia
• Counterfeit or stolen goods
• Adult services or sexually explicit content
• Live animals in violation of local law or animal welfare standards
• Anything illegal to sell, buy, or possess under U.S. federal or Texas state law
• Multi-level marketing or pyramid scheme recruitment
• Listings designed to deceive, scam, or defraud

4.3 Honesty in Listings

• Prices, condition, and descriptions must be accurate.
• Job listings must disclose real compensation ranges and requirements; no "too good to be true" income promises.
• Housing listings must comply with fair housing laws and may not discriminate based on protected characteristics.

4.4 Contact Safety

• Do not include unnecessary personal information (home address, financial account details) in a public listing.
• We recommend meeting in public places for in-person transactions and being cautious of buyers/sellers who pressure for unusual payment methods (wire transfers, gift cards) — these are common scam indicators.
• AlArab24 does not mediate, guarantee, or insure any transaction between users.

4.5 Listing Expiration

Classifieds listings expire automatically after a set period to keep the section active and relevant. Expired listings can be renewed or reposted if still valid.

4.6 Enforcement

Listings violating these Rules may be removed without notice. Repeated violations may result in account suspension or termination, per our Terms of Service.

4.7 Reporting a Listing

Report suspicious or rule-violating listings through the Site's reporting tools or privacy@alarab24.net.
