Spreading the Carpet
Scholars have said that seeing a carpet spread in an unknown place or among unknown people indicates that the dreamer will attain sustenance or comfort during travel. A small or thin carpet signifies a short life and few provisions, while folding it symbolizes the cessation of blessings and life.
