Smelling Someone's Breath

Scholars have said that if someone sees a person smelling their breath and finds a foul odor like that of alcohol or decay, it means the person is seeking unpleasant words from them and will hear such words proportional to the foulness of the smell. If no unpleasant odor is found, then their words will be pleasant in proportion to the good smell. If the foul odor comes from a specific tooth, it signifies unpleasant praise from a family member associated with that tooth.
