Shaving the Beard

Scholars have said that shaving the beard in a dream indicates the loss of the dreamer's status and reputation within their tribe and their wealth. They mentioned that shaving is easier to interpret than plucking, and plucking might even signify improvement in some matters if it doesn't disfigure the face, though this improvement comes with hardship. It was narrated that a man dreamed he was holding his uncle's beard and cutting it until he removed it entirely; Ibn Sirin told him: "You will consume your uncle's inheritance, and there will be no heir other than you."
