The Faster
Scholars have said that if one is seen fasting in a dream purely for show or reputation rather than for divine sake, it suggests that their desired goals will not be achieved. If the dreamer is fasting but is unsure whether it is an obligatory or voluntary fast, it indicates an unfulfilled vow that needs to be settled, and it may also imply the necessity of silence, given its association with the essence of fasting.
