The Meadow or Grass

Scholars have said that if one dreams of being in a meadow or grass, gathering or eating it, their situation varies: the poor become rich, the rich become wealthier, and the ascetic might return to worldly pursuits. A garden (rawda) may symbolize Islam, or places of virtue like the Prophet's tomb and circles of remembrance, or the Qur'an and books, or Paradise and its gardens. Leaving it for bad land may indicate apostasy or committing a grave sin.
