The Hitting of a Man
Scholars have said that seeing oneself hitting a man in a dream may indicate praying against him. If the beaten person is bound, it could suggest speaking ill of them and praising them with ugly words. Hitting the head may be interpreted as a desire to remove the beaten person's leader or to bring about a complete change in them, while hitting the eyelid could signify dishonoring their religion or inviting them to heresy. Some interpreters believe that each limb that is struck corresponds to a specific relative.
