Interpretation of the Adhan in Multiple Contexts

Scholars have said that seeing the Adhan, Iqama, and prayer performed may indicate the completion of a task or could be a sign of death. Hearing the Adhan in the market might signify the death of someone from there, and hearing a disliked Adhan could point to being called to something unpleasant. The Adhan is commendable for one who is worthy of it and in its proper place, but disliked for one who is not or if called in an improper place. Ibn Sirin interpreted seeing the Adhan as either Hajj or theft, depending on the dreamer's condition and characteristics.
