Harvesting Dates

Scholars have said that harvesting dates in their season may indicate marrying a noble and wealthy woman, or acquiring wealth without effort, or gaining useful knowledge that is acted upon. If harvested out of season, it points to hearing knowledge without applying it. It can also be interpreted as gathering wealth from influential men, the sweetness of faith, spoils from enemies, sharing in a small good deed, illicit earnings, or inheritance after divorce, and some of its symbols may refer to worries or military matters.
