The Fish

Scholars have said that seeing a fish emerging from the male organ may be interpreted as the birth of a daughter. A live, fresh fish symbolizes a virgin, and fishing on land might indicate committing an indecency or receiving good news, while fishing from murky water suggests severe distress, and from clear water, it is interpreted as sustenance or a fortunate son. Eating live fish may signify gaining kingship, and fresh grilled fish is a gain and good fortune, possibly fulfilling a need, answering a prayer, or ample provision for the pious, and a punishment for others.
