Fleeing from Death or Killing
Scholars have said that fleeing from death or killing might indicate the nearing of one's demise, based on the Quranic verse: "Say, 'Never will fleeing benefit you if you are fleeing from death or being killed.'" It was also said that fleeing from an enemy might signify safety and achieving one's desires. Generally, fleeing can mean safety, according to the verse: "So flee to Allah. Indeed, I am to you from Him a clear warner."
