The Dirhams

Scholars have said that receiving dirhams in a purse, pouch, or sack signifies being entrusted with a secret and safeguarding it for its owner. Giving dirhams to others also implies entrusting them with a secret. Generally, dirhams are considered better and less harmful than numerous dinars, and a single small dirham may symbolize a young child.
