Scholars have said that drawing water with a bucket for ablution may indicate seeking help from a believing, religious man, and completing ablution with it symbolizes sufficiency from worries and debts. It is also said that a bucket in a well for someone seeking marriage may indicate marriage and having children. As for the ship, it may symbolize everything that saves from drowning and calamity, such as Islam, a wife, parents, or the Straight Path, and it may also represent imprisonment and sorrow if it is becalmed.
