A Hairless Nape

Scholars have said that whoever dreams of having no hair on their nape, it may indicate their bankruptcy. It was narrated that a man dreamed his neck was neither long nor short, and a dream interpreter told him that if he had bad manners, they would improve; if he was brave, his bravery would increase; and if he had a bad nature, he would become generous. The shoulder (ʿātiq) signifies a friend, partner, or employee, the shoulder blade (katif) a woman, and the shoulder joint (mankib) adornment, beauty, and recklessness.
