The Paralyzed Left Hand
Scholars have said that seeing the left hand paralyzed in a dream might indicate the death of a brother or sister. The wilting of individual fingers was interpreted to signify the death of the father (thumb), sister (index finger), brother (middle finger), affliction to a daughter (ring finger), or affliction to the mother and family (little finger).
