The Inkwell
It has been said by interpreters that an inkpot in a dream often symbolizes a wife or a woman one marries, with an inkwell possibly indicating a virgin or a boy, and the pen representing a male. Writing from an inkpot may suggest acquiring a servant for intimacy, though her stay might be brief. Obtaining an inkpot could also signify disputes with one's wife or others, or marriage to a relative if other auspicious signs are present. In some rare interpretations, the inkpot can metaphorically represent an ulcer, the pen iron, and the ink pus.
