The Fox
Scholars have said that the fox may symbolize a treacherous, cunning man, frequently evasive in his religion and worldly affairs, and it might indicate an astrologer or a doctor. It was said that contending with a fox might point to a quarrel with relatives, and seeking it could cause pain from spouses or acquiring a woman one loves weakly. It was also mentioned that drinking fox milk might indicate recovery from illness or relief from worry, while touching it could cause fear from jinn, and eating its meat a quick-recovering illness.
