Scholars have said that if one sees themselves afflicted with 'ablaq' (a condition similar to vitiligo or leprosy), it may indicate suffering from the disease itself. It has been mentioned that seeing vitiligo on oneself is better in interpretation than seeing it on others, as seeing it on others may suggest aversion. Furthermore, pustules that burst and discharge pus indicate victory, and pus in pustules, scabies, smallpox, and similar conditions signifies extended wealth. Smallpox, sores, and measles may denote acquiring wealth from a ruler accompanied by worry and fear.
