Swimming and Contesting Opponents
Scholars have interpreted that seeing oneself swimming and disputing an opponent may signify overcoming and triumphing over them. Walking on water in a sea or river might symbolize good religious conduct and sound conviction. It has also been said that it could indicate certainty in a matter previously doubted, or traveling on a perilous journey with reliance on God.
