Seeing an Elephant
Scholars mention that whoever sees an elephant but does not ride it may experience a deficiency in themselves and a loss in their wealth. However, if they ride it, they may attain a great but stingy kingdom, and they might overcome it if they are fit for authority. Riding an obedient elephant may indicate marrying the daughter of a prominent non-Arab man or the flourishing of a merchant's trade, and herding elephants may signify befriending kings of non-Arabs.
