Lightning Burning Clothes and Thunderbolts
Scholars have said that seeing lightning burn clothes may indicate the death of a sick wife. Thunderbolts, on the other hand, might point to needs and afflictions that befall people, such as locusts, hail, epidemics, and diseases, or they could signify a great command from a ruler bringing destruction or fines. They can also indicate the arrival of an oppressive ruler, or sudden events and disasters like death, fire, and demolition.
