Lamentation

Scholars have said that if a person dreams of a place where lamentation occurs, a sinister plot may unfold there, causing friends to disperse. It was also said that the interpretation of lamentation is trumpeting, and the interpretation of trumpeting is lamentation. As for crying, Ibn Sirin reportedly said that crying in a dream signifies strength of sight, but if crying and lamentation are accompanied by dancing, it is not considered praiseworthy.
