The Cold
Scholars have said that one who experiences cold in a dream might face poverty. As for those who warm themselves by fire, an censer, or smoke, they might seek work for the ruler that involves risk and humiliation. Warming oneself by a blazing fire indicates working for the ruler, by embers signifies seeking an orphan's wealth, and by smoke means falling into terror. It was also said that cold indicates unproductive endeavors, and for a traveler, it suggests an incomplete journey, while fog symbolizes a perplexing matter and strife, and a cloudy day points to worry, sorrow, and tribulation.
