Cutting the Right Hand

Scholars have said that seeing the right hand cut off in a dream might be interpreted as theft, citing a Quranic verse. It was also mentioned that a cut hand could signify separation from a brother, friend, or partner, or gaining a large sum of money from a known person, or ceasing an evil act through their influence. Afflictions to the fingers are interpreted as a trial for a child, or if there is no child, as neglecting prayers.
