Cutting a Poor Person's Tongue

Scholars have said that whoever dreams of cutting a poor person's tongue might give something to a foolish person. If one's tongue sticks to their palate, they might deny a debt or a trust. As for muteness, it indicates corruption in religion and uttering falsehoods, and it might refer to insulting companions (of the Prophet) and backbiting dignitaries.
