The Appearance of the Crescent Moon
Scholars have said that seeing the crescent moon appear from its rising point at a time other than the beginning of the month may indicate the emergence of a king or the birth of a child of great significance. It may also be interpreted as the arrival of an absent person or the occurrence of a new and important event. It was mentioned that the appearance of the crescent moon differs from that of the full moon or a star, as the rising of a star is interpreted as a noble man.
