The Angel of Death
Interpreters mention that seeing the Angel of Death (peace be upon him) in a dream varies in meaning depending on his state; if joyful, it suggests a martyr's death, while if frowning or angry, it may indicate dying without repentance. If the dreamer wrestles with the Angel of Death and is defeated, it signifies death; if not defeated, it implies approaching death but then being saved. It has also been said that merely seeing the Angel of Death can indicate a long life.
