The Crane
Scholars have said that the crane may symbolize a strange, poor, or weak person, and it might indicate a long journey or a traveler's safe return home. It was said that cranes refer to people who love gathering and sharing, and they could be an indicator of thieves and highwaymen if gathered in winter. It was also mentioned that they might be a good omen for travelers and those seeking marriage or children.
