The Book
Scholars have said that whoever sees a book in their hand might gain strength. If the book is open, it signifies well-known goodness; if sealed, it's hidden goodness. Its meaning also varies depending on whose hand holds it: in a boy's hand, it's good news; in a girl's, it's goodness and relief; and in a woman's, it's an anticipation of joy.
