The Bowl

Scholars suggest that seeing a large bowl (قصعة) and its contents of tharid (broth with bread) may indicate the dreamer's lifespan; what is eaten from it represents the life already passed, and what remains represents the life yet to come. It has also been said that seeing a bowl with very rich tharid that cannot be eaten signifies accumulating wealth for others to consume.
