The Bow
Scholars have said that a bow in a dream may symbolize a father, authority and governance, or a woman (related to marriage, pregnancy, divorce, or disobedience). Drawing a bow can indicate honorable and dignified travel or journeys to specific people, and hitting the target with its arrow signifies achieving one's desires. Conversely, the breaking of a bow or its string may be interpreted as the death of a wife, child, or partner, dismissal from authority, or suffering from fatigue, loss, or filial disobedience. Crafting a bow may also signify the birth of a male child, increased authority, or marriage for the unmarried.
