Inviting People to a Feast
Scholars have said that inviting people to a feast might indicate engaging in a matter that leads to regret and blame. However, if the guests eat to their satisfaction, it could signify assuming leadership over them. Generally, preparing a feast may also indicate the arrival of an absent person.
