The Donkey
Scholars have said that a donkey in a dream often represents a person's fortune, luck, and livelihood; owning it indicates the arrival of good, salvation from worries, and an increase in wealth, especially if it is obedient or laden. It may also signify associating with ignorant people or attaining wealth and high status, as well as the state of one's travels. The donkey's transformation into another animal may reflect the source of livelihood (ruler, honor), while difficulty in its movement can indicate deprivation. Falling from a donkey suggests poverty, and wrestling with one may mean the death of a relative. A female donkey can symbolize a lowly woman, a servant, or one's trade.
