The Tharid (Dish)

Scholars believe that tharid in a dream represents a man's life, earnings, and livelihood, with its interpretation varying according to its condition and taste. Tharid without fat (dasm) may suggest difficult circumstances and a wish for death, or a lowly profession and poverty, while very rich tharid that is not eaten might indicate accumulating wealth that others will consume. It could also express fear of death despite abundant blessings if the dreamer fears its depletion, and the type of meat in the tharid broth determines interpretations related to dealing with oppressors, illicit wealth, or lowly positions, as its fat content may indicate forbidden benefit or a complete lack of benefit.
