The Merchant Sitting on a Stall
Scholars have said that seeing a man sitting on a stall, surrounded by merchant goods, dressed as a merchant, trading, commanding, and prohibiting, indicates leadership in his trade. If a less prominent merchant sees merchant tools in his hand, it may suggest security from poverty.
