The Crown of Roses

Scholars have said that whoever sees a crown of roses on his head may marry a woman with whom separation will soon occur, and if a woman sees this, it indicates a husband with these characteristics. Picking roses symbolizes joy, while cutting down a rose tree may indicate sorrow, and an open rose may signify the fleeting beauty of worldly life without strength or permanence.
