Men's Spinning
Interpreters believe that a man who sees himself spinning cotton, linen, or silk, and thereby imitates women, may experience humiliation or engage in a lawful but socially disapproved activity for men. This suggests a situation that might diminish his status or masculinity in the eyes of society.
