The Eye
Scholars have said that seeing an eye in a dream carries multiple and complex interpretations; strange eyes may indicate a loss of ease and reliance on others, or marriage to the daughter of a known person, while iron eyes point to severe sorrow and the disclosure of secrets. The eye may also signify considering a specific matter and offering help, while admiring an eye might warn of harm to one's religion, and eye colors vary in their religious connotations. Weak eyesight indicates need, poverty, and illness of children, and blindness may suggest ignorance of one's people's news. Eyelashes are considered protection for religion, and the soundness or corruption of the eyes may relate to children and wealth.
