The Extinguished Lamp
Interpreters suggest that if one sees an extinguished lamp, it may indicate the death of an important person symbolized by the lamp, such as a scholar, a household guardian, or a child, especially if they are ill. It might also symbolize the loss of sight for the dreamer, or a setback in their religious commitment, commensurate with their situation and the details of the dream.
